Prompts, experimental poetry, kitchen-table stories, and advice.

The Gallery is explained here: The Controversys.
(I love that someone sent me some advice on spelling and grammar on this blog. Seriously. It was the sweetest thing. But, here’s the thing, you will see intentional misspellings, as above. That is because much of the words used here come from magazines. This freedom to unspell words, unravel language, and uncomplicate rules is a pretty big reason for this project.)

A lot of younger writers follow this blog. So, there may be posts which offer advice and encouragement about things I know about, such as submitting your work to journals.

If you have a question or would like to contact me, please feel free to use the comment form. I am happy to talk and will anonymously answer any questions in the next week’s blog.

*note: sorry for the ads. Try using them as prompts! Some of them are pretty funny, actually, like the juxtaposition on the right.
